Grounds Maintenance Participatory Budgeting: Your Environment, You Decide

Participatory Budgeting encourages communities to decide how to spend an allocated portion of a budget. Following a successful pilot with the Open Space Grounds Maintenance Budget in the Three Towns Locality, North Ayrshire Council has approved the roll-out of the initiative to our five remaining localities. This means more local communities will have the opportunity to influence how some of the money allocated to grounds maintenance in their area is spent.

The drop-in event will take place on Tuesday 20 November 2018 between 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon in Irvine Library. This will give the opportunity for people to share their views with the Council’s Streetscene team, who will also advise on current grounds maintenance arrangements.
