Message from Dr Martin Cheyne, Chairman, NHS Ayrshire & Arran

Being a non-executive is a challenging and rewarding role which will have a lasting impact on the delivery of healthcare across Ayrshire and Arran. This is a great opportunity for anyone with an interest in their local health service to become more involved in decision making and in ensuring the accountability of the executive Board members and I would urge anyone who is keen to make a difference to consider applying.

The Board will particularly welcome applications from groups currently under-represented on Scotland’s public bodies, such as women, disabled people and people aged under 50. Please find the link to the page on our website which gives details http://www.nhsaaa.net/about-us/how-to-get-involved/ and a link to the Appointed for Scotland website which has the full details of this public appointment and how to apply.
