North Ayrshire Young People’s Participatory Budgeting

Could you use funding for a youth project that makes a difference in your community? Submit a bid and let North Ayrshire’s young people decide!

Individuals, clubs, groups and parent councils from across North Ayrshire are invited to bid for up to £1000 per Locality (Arran, Garnock Valley, Irvine, Kilwinning, North Coast and Three Towns) to help make a difference for young people in their community.

Applications should fit with at least one of the following themes:

  • Health and Well-being  and
  • Poverty and Inequality
  • Participation and Young People’s Voice

Even if you’re not bidding for funds, you can play an important role by voting for the projects that you believe will best use the funding! Voting is open to 8 – 25 year olds that live in North Ayrshire and will be live on the Young Scot website from 9am, Friday 8 November – 12noon, Friday 22 November. Email youthpb@north-ayrshire.gov.uk for a voting number.
